NAVIO HOSTED ON BUGOLOBI BASED RADIO CITY IN KAMPALA LAST SATURDAY 28TH JANUARY, 2012

 

Uganda’s No 1 ranked hip-hop star Navio was hosted on the official top 20 count –down show hosted by presenter McKenzie on Bugolobi based Radio City last Saturday 28th January, 2012.

 

The weekly “official count down show” is among the  highest-ranked national radio  shows  among the youth and adult ages as it contains "less politics, twice the music" and "it’s not about left vs right, it's about right vs wrong." The radio program can be heard live on weekdays from 2:00PM – 4:OOPM

 

Presenter McKenzie hosted Navio for nearly two hours chatting about Navio’s new musical projects, new super collabos with various stars around the continent like his “Hot Temper” track with kick boxing champion Golola Moses and his remix of Madtraxx’s Skamaress track among others. The show also addressed all the Navio buzz currently going on in different social media.

 

 The program went down smoothly with lots of listeners calling to appreciate Navio for pushing Uganda hip-hop to the level where it is now. Navio on his part, thanked the fans for all their support and promised to keep pushing Ugandan music across the continent in 2012.

NAVIO RELEASES TRIPPLE THREAT COLLABO

Ugandan hip hop heavyweight Navio is absolutely going into heavy music rotation with the recent release of the “Triple Threat Collabo” in which he features on slamming remixes with other African Music sensations such as Madtraxx in the ‘Skamaress’ track, Selebobo in  ‘Baby Sup’ and African Kickboxing Intercontinental Champion Golola Moses in the ‘Hot Temper’ track.

 

To make matters more interesting, Navio and Madtraxx swapped some of their hit songs for remixes. That is, Navio doing a remix of Madtraxx’s ‘Skamaress’ while Navio’s Nawuliranga track was remixed by Madtraxx. The Nawuliranga track is on high rotation in Nairobi and will be out in Uganda soon.

 

Navio’s triple threat collabo is a new 2012 joint release that pushes forward the relationship between Navio and some of the continent’s hottest artists. Look out for new collaborations coming soon with Navio dropping a remix of Cabo Snoop’s hot ‘Windeck’ hit.

Most finest and popular East African rapper Navio is again coming out with another performance show termed the “East African X-plosion” that will take place on Friday the 16th December, 2011 at Roof Top located at Garden city in Kampala.

 

Navio will be performing against other East African sensational artists that will include; P-Unit, Mad Traxx, Nonini, Klear Kut among others. Come on down and judge for yourself who the finest East African musicians in the game. Entrance is 20,000/= for regular and 50,000/= for VIP.

NAVIO- GOLOLA MOSES RELEASE VIDEO FOR THEIR COLABORATION TRACK “TEMPERING THE HOT TEMPER”

Most celebrated Ugandan hip hop star Navio and reigning middle weight kick boxer Golola Moses have finally released the video for their collaboration track “tempering a hot temper” that was shot at Naguru based boxing club East Coast in Kampala earlier this year.

 

The celebration party for the release of the track was held last month November 2011 at Club Rouge with a huge list of celebrities, City socialites included Zari and Bad Black among others with great performances from Navio himself, Klear Kut’s JB and The Mith among others

Golola Moses recently kicked his way into the history books by becoming the first Ugandan to win a world title by defeating Hungarian Andreas Nagy to claim the World Kickboxing Federation (WKF) Intercontinental Super middleweight title.
